All clients of RJM Rapid Prototyping receive the latest
in advanced software to assist them in uploading and tracking parts
as they are being made.
The software, known as the RJM Client, allows the client to see
the .STL files before they are uploaded to verify the parts. It
also allows for real-time price quoting without having to send us
your confidential designs. At RJM Rapid Prototyping - your designs
are kept confidential and are deleted from our servers as soon as
you mark the part as received.
The software also utilizes the latest in compression technology
licensed from Materialise
to convert the .STL files into the .MGX format to allow for fast
uploading to our server. This can take a 20mb STL file down to a
few hundred KB.
During the upload process, our clients are able to specify details
such as what resolution they want the parts built in, how they want
them shipped, if they want us to cast and mold the parts for them
and which machine to send the part to (Viper SLA,CNC Mills, or Thermojet).
After upload, our server will extract and move your files onto
the next available build platform automatically. At all steps of
the process you can check your pending models to see their status.
After the models ship a tracking number is entered for easy tracking
via UPS or Fed Ex tracking systems through our software.
At any time during the process, clients can utilize the software's
built-in fully featured chat functionality to communicate with RJM
staff or other clients.
